Prof. Adeyanju Celebrates Birthday, Marks One Year In Office As Pioneer Director Of NIPSS-OSKAGOGS

It was a remarkable double celebration at the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies, Oba (Dr) Sikiru Kayode Adetona School of Governance Studies (NIPSS-OSKASOGS), Ago-Iwoye, as the pioneer Director, Prof. Sola Adeyanju mni, commemorated his one year in office alongside his birthday anniversary on March 30, 2026.

The event, which attracted dignitaries from within and outside the academic and security communities, featured the Brigade Commander of 35 Artillery Brigade, Alamala, Abeokuta, Brig. Gen. Goodwin Nwamba mni, as the Special Guest of Honour. Delivering the keynote lecture was Prof. Dele Odunlami, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Olabisi Onabanjo University.

Other notable personalities in attendance included Prof. Anthony Kola-Olusanya and Prof. Tope O. Omotayo, alongside several distinguished guests, management staff, and members of the institute.

In a surprise gesture, friends and staff of the institute organized a special birthday celebration in honour of Prof. Adeyanju, in recognition of his leadership and achievements within his first year in office.

Expressing his appreciation, the Director extended heartfelt gratitude to the Special Guest of Honour, keynote speaker, and all attendees for their support and goodwill. He also acknowledged the efforts of the organizing team, including Yemi Alaka and Dr. Rasaq Olabomi, as well as the entire management and staff of NIPSS-OSKASOGS.

Prof. Adeyanju concluded by praying for continued blessings and honour for all who contributed to the success of the celebration.
