Katsina speaker wins APC senatorial ticket

The Speaker, Katsina State House of Assembly, Nasir Daura, has been declared the winner of the ruling All Progressives Congress Senate primary election in Katsina State.
He defeated his closest rival, Ahmed Kabir, in Monday’s APC senatorial primary election for the Daura zone
Daura zone comprises 12 Local Government Areas: Baure, Bindawa, Daura, Dutsi, Ingawa, Kankia, Kusada, Mai’Adua, Mani, Mashi, Sandamu, and Zango.
