In Ogun, YGA Set To Unveil Major Endorsement for Tinubu, Adeola Ahead Of 2027

The Yayi Grassroot Alliance (YGA), Ogun State, has announced the organisation of an official endorsement programme in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The event is scheduled to hold on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at ONTEC Hall, Abiola Way, Abeokuta, beginning at 10:00 a.m.

According to the group State Coordinator Prince Adedapo David Oluwadamilare, the programme will feature an empowerment initiative and raffle draw as part of efforts to further mobilise grassroots support and promote inclusive political participation across Ogun State.

A keynote lecture titled “From Senate to Government House: A Critical Assessment of Senator Solomon Adeola’s Leadership Style and Governance Prospects for Ogun State” will be delivered by Professor Emeritus Adebiyi Abosede.

The event will be chaired by Honourable Hamzat Ganiyu Oladunjoye, Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs in Ogun State, while Otunba Muraina Olatunji Banjoko and Hon Funmi Efuwape will serve as the Father and Mother of the Day respectively.

Prominent stakeholders including Patrons and Matrons, House of Assembly Members, Political functionaries, party faithful, and members of the public are expected to attend the programme, which the organisers described as a significant step in consolidating grassroots engagement and political awareness in the state.
