Accounting Intern

Job Specifications:

Job Description:

  • Assist in preparing and maintaining accurate financial records and reports.
  • Support accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoicing and reconciliation.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure timely processing of expenses and reimbursements.
  • Help monitor budgets and financial forecasts for projects and operations.
  • Conduct basic financial analysis and provide insights to the finance manager.
  • Assist in the preparation of tax filings and compliance documentation.
  • Organize and maintain financial records, ensuring confidentiality and security.
  • Participate in monthly and annual financial audits by providing necessary documentation.
  • Learn and utilize accounting software to streamline financial processes.
  • Perform other finance-related tasks as assigned by the direct supervisor.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Recently completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Fresh Graduates looking to enroll for NYSC in 2025
  • Proximity to Lekki Phase 1 or ability to reliably commute is mandatory
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.

Salary

  • Pre-NYSC: N95,000 monthly
  • NYSC Corp Member: N110,000 monthly.

Customer Service Officer

Job Specifications:

Job Description:

  • Our client, a Nigeria-based financial advisory firm specializing in cash flow optimization services, is seeking a dynamic and highly experienced individual to join their team as a Customer Experience Associate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow Loan and deposit processing workflow from start to finish within the allotted turnaround time
  • Manage and collect clients’ information for documentation purposes.
  • Analyze client needs to achieve maximum satisfaction.
  • Maintain client relations through constant engagement.
  • Answer calls professionally to provide information about products and services, take/cancel orders, or obtain details of complaints.
  • Brief and explain the products and services the company offers to walk-in clients.
  • Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken. Process orders, forms, and applications.
  • Follow up to ensure that appropriate actions were taken on customers’ requests.
  • Handle complaints provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits and follow up to ensure resolution.
  • Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication with clients
  • Oversee the distribution of incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Compile reports on overall customer satisfaction.
  • Use various software, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software, to manage work processes and deliver presentations to clients.
  • Maintain a filing system for easy retrieval of corporate records, documents, and reports.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Proactive, with a strong desire to learn and grow within the company
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Salary Range: ₦200,000 – ₦250,000 monthly

Junior Accountant

Job Specifications:

Job Description:

  • Preparing financial statements, examining and analyzing the company’s accounts and ensuring compliance with financial reporting and other standard accounting procedures.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Monitor the day-to-day financial operations of the company and assigned accounts, such as payroll, invoicing, and other transactions
  • Contract outside services for tax preparation, auditing, banking, investments, and other financial needs as necessary
  • Manage the team to ensure increased productivity and efficiency
  • Preparing guidelines for how audits should be conducted
  • Track the company’s and client’s financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement.
  • Seek out methods for minimizing financial risk to the company and assigned clients
  • Research and analysis of financial reports and market trends
  • Provide insightful information and expectations to senior executives to aid in long-term and short-term decision-making
  • Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports
  • Present financial reports to board members, stakeholders, executives, and clients in formal meetings.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Minimum of BSc 2:1 in Accounting (please no HND)
  • 2 – 3 years in a core accounting role
  • Understanding of accounting principles and practices
  • Must live within close proximity to Lekki Phase 1 or can reliably commute Mondays to Fridays (No Hybrid)
  • Not more than 30 years of age as of the date of application (Mandatory)
