The African Democratic Congress scored 2,069 votes, while the Social Democratic Party managed 106 votes in the keenly contested election held on Saturday.
The vacancy in the constituency followed the resignation of Mr Mike Dio Jen, who left his seat in the State Assembly to take up an appointment as a commissioner in the Taraba State Executive Council.
