To be considered for the 2026 GEF Scholarship, you must:
- Be a Nigerian citizen or resident
- Be enrolled in, admitted to, or affiliated with an accredited tertiary institution in Nigeria
- Be able to provide the required documentation (see How to Apply)
- Financial Need: Must show genuine financial need.
- Academic Performance: Continuing students need a minimum CGPA of 3.5/5.0.
- New entrants need a UTME score of 250+ or five O’level credits (including English and Mathematics)
