Eid-el-Fitri: Jigin-Mbi Foundation celebrates with Nigerian Muslims

The Board of Trustees of Jigin-Mbi Royal Foundation have sent their warm greetings to the Muslims across the state on the auspicious celebration of this year Eid-el-Fitri.
This was according to a statement signed by the Chairman, Board of Trustees, Dr Emmanuel Kalejaiye, the Asoju Oba Iraye-Remo and made available to journalists on Sunday.
The statement listed BOT members to include Professor Olutayo Christopher Alebiosu,
Princess Barrister Adepeluola Aiyere, Prince Abayomi Kalejaiye, Prince Adekunle Ayoola and Dr Emanuel Kalejaiye, the Asoju Oba Iraye-Remo in Remo North Local Government area of Ogun State.
The foundation said that it was gladdening that the Muslims who had across the globe in the last one month engaged in Ramadan fast which comes with lots of sacrifices, piety and discipline in line with the Almighty Allah's injunction have successfully completed this sacred obligation.
The statement urged the Muslims congregation to continue to exemplify the virtues of righteous deeds and prioritise love for one another even as they keep supplicating for the country just as they were taught during Ramadan.
The trustees also called on the country leadership at all levels of government to use the occasion of this celebration to recomit themselves to pursuing programmes and policies that will make life more rewarding for the people.
The foundation said "We hereby use the auspicious occasion of this year Eid-Fitri to rejoice with our Muslim brothers and sisters across the country, particularly in Ogun State for the successful completion of this year Ramadan.
"We urge the Muslim community to continue to let the lessons of righteous deeds, discipline and sacrifice among others which Ramadan teaches to be their guiding light
"We must also continue to prioritise peaceful coexistence and keep praying for the betterment of our dear nation.
"Our leaders as well at various levels of government should use this year’s celebration to recomit themselves to pursuing initiatives that are tailored towards making the country the pride of the entire black race.
"Our sincere prayer is that the Almighty God will preserve us all to celebrate many more of this wonderful occasion.
"At Jigin-Mbi, we remain committed to looking after the people's welfare using our God's given resources to keep making the world a better place for all".
