Benefits of Shopify Dev Degree Scholarship Program 2026
- Dev Degree is a remote program. There may be opportunities to gather in person, but your work and learning at Shopify will be done remotely.
- Shopify will pay your tuition and give you a competitive salary and vacation. That’s over $160,000 (CDN) in total financial support.
- Depending on what partner university you attend, you’ll either join an Engineering team and experience building products at Shopify while continuing to study Computer Science after your first 4 months on the Developer Skills Training Path (York University), or after your first 8 months (Carleton University).
- Students are granted academic credits for their work at Shopify and graduate with an accredited degree in computer science in only three to four years, with 3800+ hours of work experience.
- Working closely with Shopify university partners, students take three university courses on campus each term and spend ~25 hours each week at Shopify.
