Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has revealed one interesting fact fans don’t know about him.
Wizkid described himself as a “boring” person, contrary to the glamorous image often associated with celebrity life.
The music star made the remark during a recent episode of Close Friends Only Speed Round, where he featured alongside fellow singer Asake.
When asked by Asake to share an interesting fact fans might not know about him, Wizkid said his daily routine is simple and ordinary.
“I see myself as boring. I wake up in the morning at 6:30, I take my kids to school. We are normal human beings too,” he said.
Wizkid explained that despite fame and success, celebrities live regular lives and engage in everyday activities that may appear unexciting to the public.
Speaking further, the singer listed the three most important things in his life as his daughter Morayo, music, and God.
He also shared his views on longevity in the music industry, saying that authenticity, strategic collaborations, and hard work are key to sustaining a long-lasting career.
