Selected participants will be fully funded to undergo training in South Africa with all expenses covered, while learning to increase the knowledge and skill base of the participants and help them understand the changing media landscape.

MTN Media Innovation Programme 2026 Details
The MTN Media Innovation Programme (MIP) is a 6-week long programme spread across six months for media practitioners in the Nigerian space.
The MTN MIP 2026 is a certificate course run by the School of Media and Communication, Pan-Atlantic University, with a focus on the convergence between ICT and the media. MIP is going to be a fellowship for journalists (media practitioners across the entire spectrum, including social media)
The programme will increase the knowledge and skill base of the participants and help them understand the changing media landscape and how to effectively use technology to create impactful media content.
Eligibility Requirements for MTN Media Innovation Programme 2026
To be considered for the MTN Media Innovation Program, you must satisfy the following criteria
- Must be a media professional/practitioner
- Must have a valid International Passport
- Must pass a written test and any subsequent interviews
You will also need to get a written release from employers to participate in the programme

- The six-month, fully funded fellowship for Nigerian media practitioners is designed to support the sustainable development of the nation’s changing media scene.

Programme Structure for MTN Media Innovation Program
- 30 Days in Class
All accepted candidates will spend 30 days in class in the course of the training. - 7 Days in South Africa
An all expense paid trip to SouthAfrica for a 7 days training. - 1 Day in MTN Nigeria Headquarters
Candidates will be tutored at the MTN Nigeria Headquarters and MTN Group Headquarters. - 1 Industry Visits and Tours
A one day training at the Innovation Hub.
