Legend Stout, Adekunle Gold celebrate Nigerian culture

Legend Extra Stout has partnered with singer and songwriter Adekunle Gold to celebrate Nigerian music, culture and artistry through a street carnival held in Lagos.
According to a statement, the event, themed ‘Legend Extra Stout x Mainland BlockParty’, took place on Broad Street, Lagos Island, as part of the celebration of Gold’s sixth studio album, Fuji.
The brand described the partnership as part of its commitment to supporting Nigerian culture and artistic expression. It said the carnival brought together fans to celebrate music, creativity and Legend Extra Stout.
According to the company, “Legend Extra Stout stands for boldness and originality, and our collaboration with Gold embodies that spirit. This partnership celebrates not just music but the energy and creativity that define Nigeria.”
The company noted that Gold performed some of his songs and shared the stage with rapper Zlatan. A rising artist, Tml Vibez, also entertained the audience.
According to the company, a highlight of the carnival came when Gold paid tribute to Fuji music, the genre that inspired his latest project. He was joined on stage by Fuji musicians Saheed Osupa, Taye Currency, and Obesere.
The company added that at the centre of the celebration was Legend Extra Stout’s iconic bar, which guests partook of.
The company said the collaboration with Gold reaffirmed its commitment to honouring the country’s musical heritage while connecting with a new generation of bold, expressive Nigerians.
