Lagos firm bags global recognition

Nigerian web hosting company, HoganHost, has said it has been recognised among the Top 25 WordPress Hosting providers in the 2026 HostAdvice Web Hosting Awards, a global ranking that highlights web hosting companies based on performance, reliability, customer experience and expert evaluations.

The recognition, according to a statement by the firm’s Chief Executive Officer, Joseph Effiok, on Friday, places HoganHost alongside leading international hosting providers.

Effiok said the development marked another milestone for the Nigerian technology firm as it seeks to expand its footprint in Africa’s digital infrastructure ecosystem.

HostAdvice is an international web hosting review and comparison platform that evaluates hosting providers across multiple categories, including WordPress hosting, cloud hosting, dedicated servers and customer service.

Its annual awards are designed to guide businesses and website owners in choosing reliable hosting solutions.

WordPress powers more than 40 per cent of websites globally, making WordPress hosting one of the most competitive segments of the web hosting industry.

Recognition in the category signals a provider’s ability to deliver speed, security, uptime, technical support and features tailored to WordPress users.

HoganHost, a Nigerian web hosting company, provides shared hosting, WordPress hosting, cloud hosting, reseller hosting and virtual private server services.

The company stated that it is accredited by the Nigeria Internet Registration Association and other internet authorities and has received several industry recognitions over the years.
