HAJIA SEMIAT USMAN HOSTS ALASEYORI DAY, CELEBRATES MUSIC, FAITH AND CULTURE IN IPERU REMO

The ancient town of Iperu Remo will today, Sunday, August 9, 2026, come alive as renowned Islamic singer and daughter of the soil, Hajia Semiat Olubunmi Ajoke USMAN, popularly known as Alaseyori, hosts a colourful 4-in-1 Alaseyori Day at the Solomon Gbadebo Field, former Police College, Ogere Road, Iperu Remo, beginning at 11:00 a.m.

The event is a celebration of music, faith, culture and achievement, and will feature the launching of Alaseyori's new album, Turbaning and Award Presentation, alongside other activities under the 4-in-1 programme. The celebration is expected to attract Islamic faithful, cultural enthusiasts, music lovers, family members, friends, community leaders and well-wishers from within and outside Iperu Remo.

Hajia Semiat Olubunmi Ajoke USMAN, a native of Iperu Remo in Ikenne Local Government Area of Ogun State, is a well-grounded female Islamic singer whose music is characterised by messages of faith, devotion and moral instruction. Through her music ministry, she uses her talent to communicate the message of God to the general public while promoting values that strengthen family, community and spiritual life. She is married and blessed with wonderful children.

A major attraction at the event will be the appearance of renowned Islamic singer Alhaji Dr. Abdul-Kabir Bukola ALAYANDE, popularly known as ERE ASALATU, who is billed as the Guest Artiste. His participation is expected to add further excitement and spiritual depth to the celebration, with guests looking forward to an inspiring blend of Islamic music and entertainment.

The event will also provide an opportunity to celebrate Alaseyori's artistic journey, her contribution to Islamic music and her continued commitment to using music as a vehicle for spreading messages of faith and positive values.

Invited members of the public, particularly the people of Iperu Remo and the wider Remo community, are expected to join Hajia Semiat Olubunmi Ajoke USMAN in the celebration in marking what promises to be a memorable day of music, worship, celebration, recognition and cultural fellowship.
