Unilever Nigeria’s Future-X Unilever Campus Ambassadors Program is providing working experience opportunities for Graduates and Undergraduates alike.
Unilever Nigeria is hiring for its Future-X Unilever Campus Ambassadors Program (FUCAP) a 1-year Import and Export (ImpEx) Internship.
The intern will support shipment tracking, logistics documentation, clearing agent coordination, and supply chain processes within one of Nigeria’s leading FMCG companies. Working hours are 8AM–5PM, Monday to Friday
Unilever Import and Export (ImpEx) Internship Requirements:
To be considered for the Unilever Import and Export (ImpEx) Internship, you must meet the following requirements:
- Must be serving or have completed NYSC
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong data analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools
- Good stakeholder management, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Passion for high performance
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Available to work full-time for the full 1-year duration
Future-X Unilever Campus Ambassador Duration and Reward
- ₦140,000 monthly gross stipend
- 1 year of practical FMCG supply chain and logistics experience
- Exposure to real import/export operations and global logistics
- Work with internal and external stakeholders across Unilever’s network
- Skills development in supply chain, documentation, procurement, and international trade
Future-X Unilever Campus Ambassador Responsibilities
- Maintain and update shipment trackers, capturing all data from origin to delivery, container return, and invoice settlement.
- Liaise with clearing agents, suppliers, banks and Unilever’s global logistics partners to ensure timely documentation, dispatch, and accurate shipment tracking.
- Ensure all shipping documents, permits, and certificates are compete, up to date, and submitted at least 5 days before vessel arrival.
- Prepare, upload, and follow through with document signings as per Unilever’s Statement of Authority
- Monitor and escalate risks or delays in shipment timelines, documentation, and supplier/ agent compliance.
- Support container deposit/ bond tracking, financial postings, and continuous process improvements in the ImpEx function.
