The organisers of the 2026 National Women Mega Empowerment and Rally have named Nigerian actresses, Funke Akindele, Toyin Abraham, Joke Silva, Rahman Sadau, Eniola Badmus and a stellar cast of entertainers, in a committee led by the first lady of Lagos state, Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu.

The initiative tagged ‘The Power of 10 Million’, linked to the office of Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim and the Federal Ministry of Women Affairs, announced that the entertainment committee will drive cultural and creative engagement at the rally slated for May 5th at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium.

As we count down to The Power of 10 Million: One Voice! One Movement!! One Choice!!, we proudly present the Entertainment Committee, the committee charged with bringing energy, culture, creativity and unforgettable moments to this historic national gathering,” the Instagram post reads.

Responsible for planning and coordinating engaging and memorable entertainment experiences, this distinguished committee will help set the stage for 10 Million Women to gather on May 5th, 2026 at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja, for the mother of all empowerment rallies.

“This is more than entertainment, this is the spirit of the movement in motion. Celebrating women. Showcasing culture. Inspiring a nation through creativity and unity.”

The entertainment committee is chaired by Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, with co-chairpersons including Hannatu Musa Musawa, Rachael Umahi, Rahman Sadau, Eniola Badmus, and Ramatu Tijani.

The organisers said the committee is tasked with “planning, organising and coordinating all entertainment-related activities to ensure the programme is engaging, lively and memorable.”

They added that the rally is designed to mobilise women nationwide through a blend of empowerment initiatives and cultural expression.
