Consulting firm unveils job-ready graduate training academy

A consulting firm, HYT Consulting, has officially launched its Graduate Training Academy, a transformative initiative aimed at equipping young graduates with essential workplace skills while providing employers with access to a pool of job-ready talent.

Set to run from July 14 to 18 in Ikeja, Lagos State, the academy is designed to address a growing concern in Nigeria’s job market: the increasing number of graduates lacking the practical skills and experience required in today’s professional environments.

Speaking during the launch, the CEO of HYT Consulting,  Mrs Folusho Odegbaike, highlighted the dual purpose of the programme.

“We want to ensure graduates are not just qualified, but employable.

At the same time, we’re helping employers save valuable time and effort by providing a pool of pre-vetted, skilled candidates who are ready to contribute from day one,” she said.

The academy offers a robust, hands-on curriculum that includes workplace communication and professionalism, curriculum-vitae development and interview preparation.

It also helped graduates with critical thinking and problem-solving, practical industry-aligned skills, real-world project experience and mentorship.

Graduates who complete the training will be added to HYT’s exclusive talent pool, giving them direct access to job opportunities through the firm’s extensive client network. The approach not only strengthens the career prospects of young professionals but also streamlines recruitment for businesses seeking reliable, well-prepared candidates.

The statement said applications for the academy are currently open, as it asked interested participants to apply.
