The Canadian International Development Scholarship BCDI 2030 aims to increase access to higher education and strengthen social and economic development in the 26 BCDI 2030 eligible countries.
The program’s main objective is to reduce inequalities and support improvements in the lives of participants and their communities.

Eligibility Requirements for Canadian International Development Scholarship BCDI 2030
Eligibility for the BCDI 2030 program is not on an individual basis, but through a project partnership established between a Canadian higher education institution (HEI) and an HEI from one of the 26 eligible countries.
To be considered for the Canadian International Development Scholarship BCDI 2030, you must:
- Be from one of the 26 BCDI 2030 eligible countries.
- Meet the eligibility requirements of the Canadian higher education institution (HEI) and an HEI from one of the 26 eligible countries.
Benefits of Canadian International Development Scholarship BCDI 2030
- Approximately 600 scholars from partner countries will receive study and training scholarships in Canada, with at least 51% of them being women.
- The BCDI 2030 Scholars will acquire skills, knowledge and experience that will help them evolve in the job market and become agents of change in their communities.

How to Apply for Canadian International Development Scholarship BCDI 2030 (Step by Step)
To apply for the Canadian International Development Scholarship BCDI 2030, interested and qualified candidates should;
- Explore BDCI projects and contact the resource persons identified for each of the Canadian scholarship projects.
- Individuals cannot apply directly to the BCDI 2030 program. Candidates must apply to BDCI international partners.
- Canadian HEIs and partners whose projects are to be funded will themselves launch the call for applications for scholarships in Canada and select the recipients.
- This selection will be based on selection criteria established by the participating HEIs, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the BCDI 2030 program and the admission criteria for study programs.
