Abiodun salutes Ogun teachers, highlights commitment to welfare

As the world marks World Teachers’ Day 2025, Ogun State has joined millions globally in celebrating teachers, recognising them as vital nation builders.
Governor Dapo Abiodun, in a statement on Sunday, praised teachers for their commitment, patience, and dedication in shaping the future of children across the state.
“Today, as the world marks World Teachers’ Day, we join millions around the globe to celebrate and honour our teachers — the true nation builders whose knowledge, patience, and commitment continue to shape the future of our children and our dear state,” he said.
Abiodun highlighted the state’s efforts in revitalising education, including upgrading school infrastructure, enhancing teachers’ welfare, promoting digital learning, and encouraging continuous professional development.
In Ogun State, we are proud of the progress we have achieved together in revitalizing education.
From upgrading school infrastructure and enhancing teachers’ welfare, to promoting digital learning and continuous professional development, we remain committed to creating an environment where teaching is both impactful and rewarding,” the governor stated.
He saluted educators across the state and Nigeria for their selfless service and reiterated his administration’s commitment to supporting them.
