2027: Adeleke Kuye Declares For State Assembly Race, Promises Purposeful Representation
A frontline aspirant for the Ogun State House of Assembly, Ijebu-Ode Constituency, Omooba Adeleke Kuye, has reaffirmed his commitment to delivering purposeful and quality representation if given the ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Kuye, a grassroots politician and longstanding party member, made this known while addressing journalists in Ijebu-Ode shortly after party stakeholders endorsed Governor Dapo Abiodun as the preferred Ogun East senatorial candidate.
Positioning himself as a candidate deeply connected to the people, Kuye emphasized his understanding of the challenges facing residents of the constituency.
He noted that his home-based political experience gives him firsthand knowledge of the needs and expectations of the electorate.
The aspirant also highlighted his growing acceptance across various interest groups within the constituency, stating that the support he has received so far reflects confidence in his vision and leadership capacity.
“I will remain accessible and accountable to the people at all times,” Kuye assured, adding that his representation would prioritize transparency, inclusiveness, and responsiveness to constituents’ concerns.
Beyond legislative duties, Kuye outlined plans to attract meaningful development to Ijebu-Ode, with a focus on infrastructural improvements, youth empowerment, and innovative community-based initiatives.
He stressed that his ambition is driven by a desire to bridge gaps in governance and deliver tangible benefits to the people.
As political activities gradually build toward the 2027 elections, Kuye called on APC stakeholders to support his aspiration, promising to justify their confidence with impactful and people-oriented representation.
Observers note that his declaration adds to the growing list of aspirants seeking to represent Ijebu-Ode, setting the stage for what is expected to be a competitive race within the ruling party.
