REMO ANGLICAN DIOCESE HOLDS 2026 ORDINATION SERVICE  AT ST. JAMES' ANGLICAN CHURCH, IPERU TODAY

Remo Anglican Diocese will hold the 2026  Ordination Service at St. James' Anglican Church, Iperu-Remo, today, Sunday, 28th June 2026.

The very important service which starts by 9am prompt, will be presided over by The Most Rev. Dr. Michael Olusina FAPE, Archbishop of the Lagos Ecclesiastical Province and Bishop of the Diocese of Remo. The occasion marks a significant milestone in the life and mission of the Church as candidates are ordained and commissioned for ministry in the Lord's vineyard.

The service is expected to attract members of the clergy, laity, family members of the ordinands, and other invited guests from within and outside the Diocese.

Among those to be ordained as Priests is The Rev. David Abiodun IYIADE, Assistant Priest of St. James' Anglican Church, Iperu-Remo, whose ordination has been warmly welcomed by the church family.
Also on the list is Venerable Oludayo Solomon OYENEYE H.I.D. AWOLOWO Memorial Anglican Church, Sagamu, who will be collated as an Archdeacon.

Speaking ahead of the event, the Vicar of St. James' Anglican Church, The Venerable Tolulope AKINWANDE, expressed joy at hosting the diocesan ordination service and extended a warm welcome to the Archbishop, and all distinguished guests attending the occasion.

He also congratulated all the ordinands and prayed that God would grant them grace, wisdom, and faithfulness as they embark on their ministerial calling.

He further called on parishioners, members, friends, and well-wishers to arrive early, as the service will commence promptly at 9:00 a.m.

He enjoined everyone to pray for the ordinands, in line with the words of Scripture:

"Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest." — Matthew 9:38 (KJV)
