Ogun Road Projects To Boost Investment, Economic Growth - Akinsanya
Ogun State’s ongoing infrastructure development is paving the way for increased investment and economic prosperity.
The State Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Engr. Ade Akinsanya, stated this during an inspection of the ongoing asphalt laying along Awokoya Road, Ijebu-Ode. He emphasized that the administration remains committed to infrastructural renewal as a key driver of economic growth and job creation.
He urged residents to support the government’s efforts, assuring them that more road projects would be executed across the state to enhance connectivity and ease of transportation.
A local business owner, Mr. Adeniyi Ogunkoya, expressed optimism about the impact of the newly rehabilitated roads. He noted that improved infrastructure would boost commercial activities, attract investors, and create a more business-friendly environment.
Similarly, other business owners and residents commended the government’s commitment to road construction and urban renewal.
Speaking on the benefits of the projects, Mr. John Odey, a motorist, and a shop owner in the area lauded Governor Dapo Abiodun’s administration for prioritizing road development. They highlighted the advantages of the projects, including reduced travel time, lower vehicle maintenance costs, and increased economic opportunities for small businesses.
With these strategic initiatives, Ogun State continues to position itself as a prime destination for local and foreign investment, leveraging modern infrastructure to drive sustainable economic growth.
