Ogun Political Group, Caucus 7202 Holds Ramadan Lecture

The Caucus 7202, a support organisation for Senator Olamilekan Adeola YAYI, has held its 3rd Annual Ramadan Tafsir lecture series.

At the lecture, which held on Monday in Abeokuta, prayers were offered for the success of President Bola Tinubu’s re-election, Governor Dapo Abiodun's Senatorial Election bid and Senator Olamilekan Adeola YAYI Governorship bid.

In his opening address, the Director-General of Caucus 7202, Alhaji Moctar Olaseni Koiki gave thanks to Allah for the grace to witness the group's 3rd Annual Ramadan lecture. He prayed that the wishes of members of the group in the holy month of Ramadan for President Tinubu, Governor Abiodun and Senator Adeola will be accepted by Allah and their ambitions will turn into reality.

"The primary aim of this special Ramadan lecture is to fortify our leader, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu together with Governor Dapo Abiodun and Senator Olamilekan Adeola, ahead of the general elections ,” he said.

The Chairman of the occasion , Dr Iziaq Kunle Salako, Honourable Minister of State for Health and Social Welfare while delivering his keynote address, praised the group's commitment and consistency in advocating for the progressive ideology of what President Bola Tinubu stands for. He acknowledged the group as a formidable and ever-growing political structure of Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola YAYI.

The guest lecturer, Sheikh Suleiman Faruq Onikijipa, Grand Mufty of Ilorin, delivered an inspiring lecture on the theme; "'Governance and our Responsibility to Civic Development: What is my role? ". He offered prayers and seek divine guidance for Ogun State and Nigeria in general. The Islamic clerics prayed for Nigeria and the success of President Tinubu’s re-election. 

Dignitaries at the lecture includes; Shehu Sugar, Hon. Abudu Balogun, former House of Reps. member & Commissioner in Ogun State, OGHA members - Hon. Fola Salami (Ifo State Constituency) Hon. Bakare Olanrewaju Omolola Boo (Ijebu Ode State Constituency), Hon. Adegoke Awoso (Yewa North State Constituency) and Hon. Jubril Elegbede.
