Obasa backs APC e-membership registration drive in Lagos with digital tools

Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa, has boosted the APC membership e-registration exercise in the state by providing critical digital support and manpower to enhance efficiency and participation.

Obasa supplied 80 5G-enabled tablets and 40 printers and deployed 80 trained personnel across Lagos to assist with the registration process. According to him, the intervention is aimed at improving transparency, youth inclusion, and grassroots engagement in party activities.

In a post obtained from his X on Tuesday, he said, “Today, I strengthened the APC membership e-registration exercise in Lagos by providing 80 5G-enabled tablets, 40 printers, and deploying 80 trained personnel statewide—boosting efficiency, transparency, youth inclusion, and grassroots participation.

The goal is to ensure a smooth, efficient, and transparent registration process that encourages active participation from all sectors of our communities.”

The initiative comes as part of ongoing efforts by the APC to modernise its membership registration system, leveraging technology to reduce delays, enhance data accuracy, and make the process more accessible to young people and grassroots supporters across Lagos State.

Obasa’s contribution has been welcomed by party members, who see it as a step forward in ensuring a robust and inclusive membership drive ahead of upcoming political activities.
