Man renounces christianity cver church’s failure to recognize Ifeanyi Ubah

A church member, James Louise Okoye, has been seen in a video renouncing his Christianity during the dedication of the Nnewi Catholic Diocese Cathedral.
In a viral video posted on social media on Wednesday, the man was seen shouting within the church premises, renouncing his faith and calling out the church over its failure to acknowledge the presence of former Anambra South Senatorial District lawmaker, Ifeanyi Ubah who died in July, 2024.
He was screaming Ifeanyi Ubah, adding that today is his last day as a Christian.
He said, “My last day as a Christian. My last day as a Christian is today”
Okoye questioned why the late politician, whom he said played a crucial role in supporting the construction of the cathedral before his death, was not remembered at Mass when they prayed for the souls of the faithful departed.
He questioned the people present saying, “Did you hear them say, may the soul of Ifeanyi Ubah rest in peace?”
