Kano civil service refutes selling job forms

The Kano State Civil Service Commission has dismissed as baseless the circulation of false information suggesting that employment application forms are being sold to prospective job seekers.

This is contained in a statement by the Director of Public Enlightenment at the Commission, Musbahu Aminu Yakasai, and released to newsmen on Sunday.

“The Kano CSC noted with concern the circulation of false information suggesting that employment application forms are being sold to prospective job seekers.

“The commission wishes to inform the general public that at no time has it authorised the sale of any application forms for recruitment into the State Civil Service.

This claim is entirely not true and should be disregarded in its entirety,” Yakasai said.

The commission strongly urged the public to rely solely on official government channels for authentic updates on its recruitment and other activities, stressing that all official announcements will be released exclusively through the appropriate government platforms.

It further reiterated its commitment to transparency, accountability, and due process in every recruitment exercise, saying anyone found perpetrating fraud under the guise of the Commission will be prosecuted in accordance with the law.

The commission, therefore, warned members of the public against dealing with fraudsters and urged everyone to remain vigilant.

“For credible and official information on the activities of the Commission, the public is advised to always follow government-approved communication channels or visit the Kano State Civil Service Commission office at Audu Bako Secretariat, Kano,” the statement added.
