A historic milestone in the royal journey of Oba (Dr.) Oladunni Olayinka Ifagbemi began a few years ago when he was installed as Baale, later elevated to Olori Ilu, and now crowned as monarch of Oke Ariko Kingdom by His Imperial Majesty, the Akarigbo and Paramount Ruler of Remoland, Oba Babatunde Ajayi, CFR.
On this remarkable day, the city of Oke Ariko was filled to capacity as fuji music star, Alhaji Taye Adebisi Currency, entertained guests and well-wishers who gathered to celebrate His Royal Highness, Oba (Dr.) Oladunni I, the new Oloke of Oke Ariko Kingdom in Sagamu, Ogun State.
Speaking at the installation ceremony, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Babatunde Ajayi, described the installation as a well-deserved honour. The royal father showered prayers and blessings on the new monarch, the people of Oke Ariko, and all well-wishers present at the historic occasion.
The celebration later continued at the Oke Ariko Kingdom, where dignitaries, community leaders, traditional groups, and well-wishers assembled to rejoice with His Royal Highness, Oba Oladunni Olayinka Ifagbemi and his family.

His Royal Highness, Oba (Dr.) Oladunni Olayinka Ifagbemi, the Oloke of Oke Ariko, Gbadewolu, Orukotan I, Sagamu, is a proud royal father of Sagamu, born on February 10, 1968.
Historically, he was first installed as the Baale of Oke Ariko on February 10, 2007, by His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Adeniyi Michael Sonariwo, Erinjugbo II, the then Akarigbo and Paramount Ruler of Remoland.
In a historic progression, exactly nine years later, on February 10, 2016, the same revered Akarigbo elevated him to the status of Olu of Oke Ariko, marking another significant chapter in his distinguished royal journey.
As history would have it, the month of February has consistently emerged as a symbol of destiny and fulfilment in his life.
On February 12, 2026, the current Akarigbo and Paramount Ruler of Remoland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Babatunde Ajayi, CFR, formally installed and decorated Oba (Dr.) Oladunni Olayinka Ifagbemi as the Oloke of Oke Ariko, Gbadewolu, Orukotan I of Oke Ariko, Sagamu.

“I want to sincerely appreciate our Imperial Royal father, Oba Babatunde Ajayi, the Akarigbo of Remoland, for his fatherly love shown to me and my family since his installation as Akarigbo of Remoland.
“This is another expected journey in my life despite the tough struggles. God Almighty and our Imperial Royal Father made it possible, alongside the good people around me. I cannot end my appreciation without acknowledging my wives, friends, and family for standing by me over the years.
“I must also appreciate the amiable Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun. This historic event happened during his tenure, and I sincerely thank His Excellency for his support at all levels.”
The monarch also used the opportunity to appeal to the Ogun State Government on the importance of constructing the Oke Ariko community road linking Sagamu city, noting that such development would attract greater economic growth and infrastructural advancement to the area.
