Glo thrills Anambra residents

Telecommunication giant Globacom, on Friday, thrilled residents of Onitsha, Anambra State, with a cultural celebration ahead of this year’s Ofala Festival.

Tagged “Evening with Glo,” the event, held at C.J. Paterson Hall, Enugu Road, drew prominent chiefs, distinguished sons and daughters of the kingdom, Glo partners, and loyal customers.

According to a statement shared the event was organised in honour of the Obi of Onitsha, Igwe Nnaemeka Achebe.

The statement read, “The night came alive with performances from music stars Ikem Mazeli, popularly known as ‘Onye Nwe Egwu,’ and Kcee, who entertained guests with electrifying sets, engaging both dancers and audience members throughout the evening.

The ‘Evening with Glo’ initiative, part of the Glo Heritage Series, aims to promote Nigerian culture and traditions while highlighting music as a vital medium of expression.

“Mazeli led a high-energy performance with his band and dancers, earning applause from the audience, while Kcee captivated guests with his popular hits and dynamic stage presence, moving across the hall and interacting with the crowd.

“The event served as a fitting prelude to the Ofala Festival, leaving attendees excited for the upcoming cultural celebration.
