The Convener of the Omoluabi Political Movement in Ogun State, Armstrong ‘Tope Akintunde has congratulated Muslim faithful across the world on the celebration of Eid-el-Fitr, marking the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan.

In a goodwill message released to commemorate the occasion, the young political mobiliser urged Muslims to continue offering prayers for unity, peace, and national progress as they concluded the 30-day fasting period.

Akintunde noted that Nigeria is in need of sustained prayers and divine intervention, calling on citizens to remember President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other national leaders during the period of thanksgiving and reflection.

“Our nation needs prayers, support, and unity from Nigerians both at home and in the diaspora. Our dear President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, needs the collective support of all citizens. I use this joyous celebration to appeal to everyone that the unity and peace of our country must remain our paramount objective,” he said.

He further congratulated the Muslim faithful on witnessing another Eid-el-Fitr celebration, describing it as a season of spiritual renewal and breakthrough following the Ramadan fast.

“I rejoice with our Muslim brothers and sisters. This annual celebration comes after days of devotion and sacrifice during Ramadan. May Almighty Allah accept our prayers and thanksgiving,” - Akintunde added.

Speaking on the nation’s political future, he emphasized the importance of collective responsibility as Nigeria prepares for the 2027 general elections.

“As we approach the 2027 general elections, this is a time for collective effort and sincere prayers for our country. Nigeria must rise. Our President is working to reform the system, and we must move together as brothers and sisters to support our leaders in moving the nation forward,” he stated.
