Atiku hails Dangote on birthday, lauds impact on Nigeria’s private sector

Former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar, has celebrated industrialist Aliko Dangote on his birthday, praising his contributions to Nigeria’s private sector growth and economic development.

In a birthday message on X on Friday, Atiku described Dangote as one of the few Nigerians whose vision, discipline, and determination have significantly shaped the country’s industrial landscape.

“Few Nigerians have shaped our private sector with the vision, grit, and discipline you bring to everything you touch,” he said.

He highlighted Dangote’s achievements in building one of Africa’s largest industrial enterprises, noting its impact on job creation and economic transformation across the continent.

Atiku added that Dangote’s story reflects what is possible when ambition is matched with purpose and consistency.

Your story is proof of what is possible when ambition meets purpose,” he said.

The former Vice President also commended Dangote’s philanthropic efforts, particularly his contributions to improving lives through humanitarian initiatives.

He wished the business mogul continued good health and greater impact in the years ahead.

“On this special day, I wish you good health, and many more years of impact,” Atiku said.

Dangote, who chairs the Dangote Group, is widely regarded as one of Africa’s most influential industrialists, with major investments in cement, petrochemicals, and refining across the continent.
