He emphasized that Nigerians must embrace the virtues of love, unity, and selflessness, noting that these values are essential for national growth and development.
Akintunde said beyond the festive season, Nigerians must continue to demonstrate genuine love for one another, foster peaceful coexistence, and remain committed to the unity of the country.
He encouraged citizens to be good neighbours, act as their brothers’ keepers, and contribute meaningfully to nation-building.
“Beyond this Christmas season, we must continually show love to one another. We must be kind to our neighbours, uphold unity, and work collectively for the progress of our dear nation.
"I wish all Nigerians a memorable and peaceful Christmas celebration, as Nigerians celebrate this sacred season, prayers were offered for divine peace, renewed hope, and national restoration.
"May the message of Christmas fill every home with joy, strengthen bonds of unity across ethnic and religious divides, and usher the nation into a season of peace and prosperity.
"May God grant Nigeria wisdom in leadership, compassion among its people, and the grace to overcome present challenges.
"As the light of Christmas shines, may it illuminate the path toward economic stability, social harmony, and a future filled with promise for every Nigerian".
