Akinlawon Commends Abiodun Over Commissioning of Imashayi–Igan-Okoto–Ayetoro Road

A House of Assembly aspirant for Yewa North Constituency I in Ogun State, Oluwafemi Akinlawon, has commended the state governor, Dapo Abiodun, for the commissioning of the Phase II of the Imashayi–Igan-Okoto–Ayetoro Road in Yewa North Local Government Area.

The road project was commissioned on Thursday as part of the state government’s efforts to improve infrastructure and boost socio-economic development in rural communities across the state.

Speaking on the development, Akinlawon described the governor as a promise keeper who has continued to demonstrate commitment to the growth and development of Ogun State.

According to him, the completion and commissioning of the road would significantly improve connectivity among communities within the local government area.

He noted that the project would also enhance the movement of goods and services, particularly for farmers and traders who rely on the road for transportation.

He added that the project would open up the area for more economic activities and attract development to Yewa North.

Akinlawon said, “The commissioning of the Imashayi–Igan-Okoto–Ayetoro Road is a clear demonstration that Governor Dapo Abiodun listens to the needs of the people and is committed to fulfilling his promises.

“This road will greatly ease transportation challenges faced by residents of the affected communities. It will also support farmers in moving their produce to markets and improve the local economy.

The grassroots politician further stated that infrastructural development remained a critical factor in the growth of rural communities, noting that the governor’s intervention had brought relief to residents.

Akinlawon therefore urged residents of the area to continue supporting the administration of Governor Abiodun, saying the government remained focused on delivering more dividends of democracy to the people of the state.
