The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, and the General Overseer of the Living Faith Church, Bishop David Oyedepo, have felicitated Pastor Samuel Olatunji on the occasion of his 70th birthday.
Encomiums poured on the septuagenarian and Pro-Chancellor of Trinity University on Saturday as family, friends, church members, among many others, gathered at the RCCG, Dominion Sanctuary to celebrate Olatunji.
The Thanksgiving Service held in honour of the celebrant was held on Saturday at the RCCG parish located on ACME Road, Ogba, Ikeja, Lagos.
In their separate goodwill messages, Adeboye and Oyedepo hailed Olatunji’s spiritual journey, especially for touching many lives through the ministry.
Pastor Samuel Olatunji has opened wide his life as a door through which many people have come to know the Lord Jesus Christ and have drawn upon the glory only Jesus can give.
“As you celebrate the 70th anniversary of your birth, our prayers are that God grants you many more years in the service of your Master and Saviour, Jesus Christ; that at His coming, He will find you in His Vineyard, busy for Him; He will keep you, bless you and anoint you more and more in Jesus’ name,” Adeboye stated in a message issued alongside his wife, Pastor Mrs Foluke Adeboye.
In the same vein, Oyedepo and his wife “heartily” congratulated Olatunji on his 70th birthday celebration
The renowned cleric noted that, looking back to the past several years since God made his path cross with Olatunji, he was pleased to see “how the grace of God has been on the increase in your life.”
He said, “We particularly cherish the consistency of your walk with God and the reflection of His glory in your life as we see it today. Our prayer is that as your days so shall your strength be. We also pray that your light continues to shine more and more unto the perfect day. On this your platinum anniversary, our prayer is that everything about you keeps soaring higher, including your spiritual life, health, family and your children after you, in the name of Jesus Christ.”
The statement added, “We pray that a good old age shall become the identity of your person, your family and your children after you, and may your leadership role continue to flourish more and more by reason of impact.”
Among other dignitaries who celebrated Olatunji is the Alaran Arandun, in the Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara State, Oba Ibikunle Adekanye, who hailed the celebrant’s passion for education.
“His passion for education and empowerment is evident through his tireless efforts to create opportunities for young people, establishing scholarships, schools, and foundations that continue to uplift generations.
