2027: APC France mobilises Nigerians abroad for Tinubu

The France Chapter of the All Progressives Congress has announced plans to mobilise Nigerians living abroad in support of President Bola Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima ahead of the 2027 general elections.

In a statement on Wednesday signed by chairperson, Amina Suzuki, the chapter pledged to intensify grassroots mobilisation, voter education, and strategic engagement to ensure a resounding victory for the APC ticket.

Leaders of the All Progressives Congress at every level have thrown their weight behind President Bola Tinubu for a second term in 2027, even as opinions remain divided, with some Nigerians questioning his administration’s performance and arguing that it has not fully met public expectations.

The chapter, however, stated that it plans to strengthen grassroots mobilisation, enhance voter education, and pursue strategic engagement both in Nigeria and among the diaspora to ensure a win for the APC ticket.

In view of these achievements, the APC France Chapter has resolved to mobilise massive support for President Tinubu and Vice President Shettima ahead of the 2027 elections.

“We are committed to returning home in our numbers to actively participate in grassroots mobilisation, voter education, and strategic engagement to ensure a resounding victory at the polls,” Suzuki stated.

The chapter noted that the decision came after what it described as a careful evaluation of the administration’s performance, especially in addressing economic challenges and implementing the Renewed Hope Agenda reforms.

It added that these reforms are already showing positive results, including stabilising public finances, revitalising the oil and gas sector, and boosting investor confidence.

It stated, “As Nigerians in the diaspora, we closely monitor global economic indicators and investor sentiment. Nigeria’s economic narrative is changing for the better. The resilience demonstrated by this administration, alongside its commitment to infrastructure development, social investment, security enhancement, and youth empowerment, stands as proof of purposeful governance.

“Nigeria is on a journey of renewal. This is not the time to retreat; it is the time to consolidate progress. Continuity in leadership will guarantee stability, deepen reforms, and secure the gains already recorded.

“We therefore call on all Nigerians, both at home and in the diaspora, to rally behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima in 2027 to sustain the momentum of national transformation.”
