Visitation Panel Should Be Constituted, TASCE Staff Beg Abiodun
The Ogun State chapter of Tai Solarin College of Education ably represented by Comrade Daniel Aborisade has urged the state Governor-Elect, Prince Dapo Abiodun to create a visitation panel in his new government as a gear of development for educational sector in the state.
The group made the call during their visit to Abiodun at his residential lodge in Iperu on Friday. In affirmative statement by the coordinator, Aborisade, it ascertained that the visit was hinged on two reasons, to felicitate with the Governor-Elect on the victory recorded at the poll and more importantly, to air their views on some critical issues affecting the institution.
At the interactive session, it was noted that issues raised ranged from non-payment of salaries and arrears, non-payment of pension, non-remittance of cooperative society deduction, absence of governing council board among others.
To have a deeper understanding of their challenges, the exco claimed that a visitation panel should be constituted to look into the affairs of the institution in new government.
In response, the Governor-Elect, Prince Dapo Abiodun said, “All the challenges currently facing TASCE will be given immediate and proper attention by the incoming administration, with a promise to personally visit the institution upon my assumption of office”. Abiodun assured.
