* Says Adeniyi, Akinosi, Afuwape are For Selfish Reasons
Following the crisis rocking the transport unions in Ogun State which has propelled Governor Dapo Abiodun to constitute the newly inaugurated committee that oversees the affairs of the transport unions pending the resolution of the crisis in the State.
The vice chairman of the commitee in charge of NURTW, Babatunde Aremu has expressed his feelings over the committee’s non challant practices being concocted by Barrister Sunday Adeniyi, Hon. Tunji Akinosi and Hon. Afolabi Afuwape which he claimed to have been the main grasscutters in the union.
Aremu made the call via telephone with our correspondent on Monday saying, urgent intervention is needed by the incumbent Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun to rebalance the crisis and fix everybody to the right positions in the union.
“Prince Dapo Abiodun has done what he knows to be a good solution and remedy to our matters, but it’s unfortunate that we have some bad elements in the new committee recently inaugurated by the Governor, adding that only three are deciding while others are not involved in the activities of the committee”, Aremu claimed.
He said further, “I want to inform and appeal for urgent intervention by Governor Dapo Abiodun by seeking for urgent meeting with the newly inaugurated committee, saying Iyeru and Efele are with us during campaigns but others are oppositions”.
“I have been accused wrongly with some bad elements in the committee, but all what I want is transparent and equal rights in the new committee inaugurated by the Governor”, Aremu added.
