Ogun: Housing Ministry Delivers 300 Houses To Subscribers

In fulfillment of its promise to provide affordable housing for the citizens of Ogun State, the Ministry of Housing has handed-over keys and documents to 300 subscribers at the Prince Court Estate, Kobape in Obafemi Owode Local Government Area.

Commissioner in the Ministry, Jagunmolu Akande Omoniyi revealed this during an inspection tour of the site allocated for the construction of phase 3 of Prince Court Estate Kobape, saying the houses were two-bedroom expandable bungalows.

Omoniyi stated that prompt delivery of quality housing projects was paramount to the Prince Dapo Abiodun-led administration, adding that the houses were of good standard and lowest in price compared to what was obtainable in the housing industry.

According to him “I can assure you that this is coming even much better than what we had before, we are improving on the delivery of our services. You know the present government is known for providing quality and efficient service delivery”.

He implored applicants who were yet to receive allocation letters in phases 1 and 2 of the estates to be patient, as the government was making effort to deliver phase 3 soon.

While expressing satisfaction with the work done at the site, the Commissioner said the government would engage 10,000 State-based artisans through direct labour to create jobs and boost the living standard of the people for socio-economic development of the State, which is the hallmark of the present administration.
