Ogun 2019: Odulaja sets to boost health sector in Ogun State
* Saying If I won the election, ADP party will be supreme.
The Ogun Governorship aspirant, Captain Ladi Odulaja has assured his followers and party stakeholders across the State on the betterment of the party if elected into office, come 2019.
Captain Ladi Odulaja who is the Governorship aspirant under the platform of Action Democratic Party (ADP) made the call known to the party stakeholders across the State, held at the State secretariat, Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital on Tuesday.
The party, Action Democratic Party with slogan “One destiny, full Employment” has stated in its manifestoes that the party does not belong to an individual and that no individual is greater than the party. The impression has been corrected that the party’ does not belong to the former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Dimeji Bankole but to the good people of Ogun State.
The former House of Representatives member, Hon. Wale Ogunbanjo who hailed from Ijebu-Ode and also the party cordinator in the South-west, has frowned in his address while shedding more light on the rumour, thus discouraging the people from saying that the party belongs to Hon. Dimeji Bankole. “Our people have been misled and disconnected with some political parties in the State, claiming that the party belongs to Chief Alani Bankole and his son, the former speaker house of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Dimeji Bankole, it’s a mere rumour”, he said.
In a short-note, the party State Chairman, Hon. Egunleti reminded the excos in his brief message that when the crisis enrolled in PDP, they decided to take and bull out to sacrifice by dedicating their time and wealth to the people of the Ogun State and Nigeria as a whole which led them to this point.
The chairman buttressed that the policy of the party must be supreme, that it’s not the stage we are today in Nigeria, the objective of the party shouldn’t be sentimental but transparent”, adding that party should be able to handle the crises and balance the character of individuals in the party before giving the tickets to govern the people in the State.
The chairman accused the All Progressive Congress led administration of the “change” slogan with massive killings across the country, by failing to create a safe and enabling environment for Nigerians, also for business to strive.
In response to the questions by the party stakeholders in the State, the Ogun State Governorship aspirant, Captain Ladi Odulaja expressed his intention to run for Governorship under the platform of ADP.
He said, “Being a pilot, you shouldn’t have doubting mind in driving an Aeroplane, this fact has led me not to have any doubt in the party (ADP) as the best choice to stay with, I came here with an open mind with the focus of what I want to do to develop Ogun State, if I could be chanced to govern the State in 2019 general elections, the party will be supreme by all standard”.
“I am here to join hands with the ADP party also with the good people of Ogun State, we need to balance the standard living of our people, I believe in the family circles, we are in the midst of bad governance, I promise to boost the health and other sectors across the state with standard equipments, saying we need to stand up and demand for patriotic governance”, Odulaja claimed.
Speaking from Ijebu-Ode local government where the Governorship aspirant hails from, the party leader in the council, Alhaja Adenike Suke who contributed her goodwill boasted that the party will get to its glory land, come 2019 general elections.
