Man Kills Woman Friend, Sells Body Parts To Pastor in Ogun

…As Police Commissioner escapes Death

A 42year-old suspected ritualist, Olushola Akindele in Ijoko, under Ifo local government area of Ogun State on Wednesday confessed to the killing on his woman friend simply known as ‘Iya Anu’.

The suspect who was arrested together with his accomplice, Pastor Ayodele Bamiduro claimed that, he had been dating the woman for over two years, but did not know what came over him to have perpetrated the act.

The suspect, on the fateful day the deceased visited him, made love with each other, saying while the woman was relaxing, he killed her and cut off the head which he buried behind Pastor Bamiduro’s church.

But speaking with NEWSFLAGSHIP, Pastor Ayodele Bamiduro of Lion of Judah, Robiyan, Ijoko Ifo, denied knowing Akindele before the incident.

Pastor Bamiduro confessed that, the criminal had buried the victim’s head at his backyard before informing him.

He said could not inform the police because the suspect, Akindele threatened to rope him if the police got wind of the situation.

Parading the suspects at the scene of the incident in Robiyan, the Ogun State Police Commissioner, CP Ahmed Iliyasu, described the act as a case of conspiracy, murder and ritualism .

Iliyasu explained that on Aug. 10, a complaint was lodged at Police Divisional headquarters, Agbado area by Baale of Igbore Robiyan in Ifo Local Government Area of the state.

The commissioner explained that the Baale had reported that a headless decomposing body of a woman was found in an uncompleted building within the community

He noted that the DPO in charge of Agbado division, Olatunji Omonijo was given a matching order to unravel the mystery behind the killing of the woman.

CP Illiyasu explained that, upon investigations, Akindele confessed to have surreptitiously brought out a pestle-like wood with which he smashed the woman’s head and later cut off her head and two hands after making love with the victim.

“The DPO and his detectives embarked on technical intelligence based investigation which led to the apprehension of Bamiduro and Akindele.

” On interrogation, Akindele who also claimed to be a prophet in a church confessed that the victim was his woman friend who he simply identified as Iya Anu. He stated further that they have been dating for two years .

“On that fateful day the victim came to visit him as usual and after they made love to each other and the woman was relaxing , he brought out a pestle -like wood and snatched the woman’s head .

” He later cut off her head and the two hands before he threw the remains into the uncompleted building behind his residence.

“The severed head and two hands of the victim were buried at the back of Lion of Judah Church of Christ situated at Robiyan avenue belonging to Bamiduro,” he said.

Iliyasu described the incident as wickedness at its peak and height of man’s inhumanity to man .

He assured members of the public that the perpetrator of the dastardly act would face the full wrath of the law, saying they would soon be arraigned before a court of competent jurisdiction.

Meanwhile, the Ogun State Commissioner of Police, CP Ahmed Iliyasu on Wednesday escaped death by whiskers.

Iliyasu who was returning from the scene of the ritual incident in his unmarked tinted white Toyota Hilux vehicle escaped being injured when a Toyota Camry car ran into the Commissioner’s convoy.

The incident which happened at Itori area of Abeokuta in the presence of journalists who accompanied the police team to the ritual scene claims no life, as the Commissioner escaped uninjured.
