Lisabi Elite Club Hosts Ex-DIG, Adeniji as Former Police Pledges Support for Club 

Lisabi Elite Club, a club that comprises all indigenes of Abeokuta and its environs has called on the immediate retired Deputy Inspector General of Police, Otunba Adeola Adeniji, the Saaki of Egbaland to lend his supporting hands on development of the club at this time.

Lisabi Elite Club is known as a club with the total population which is presently over 200 members, it began in February 1970 as an Association of five friends namely Chief S.A Olu Soluade, the first President and former Deputy Governor of Ogun State; Comrade Jare Adefemi, Chief Segun Fafiolu, Mr. Tunmbi Idowu and Chief F.A Adebayo, one of its aims is to unite all Abeokuta sons together for the growth of its land.

On the recent call by the Executives of this great club in Abeokuta, Ex-DIG Adeniji described the event as memorable one, saying: “I feel highly honoured that I am joining another club in Abeokuta because it has given me another great opportunity to interact well with my people this time.

“I’m one of its sons, and so for my 35 years in Nigeria Police it has taken me to all the nooks and crannies of the country. I was not opportune to work in Ogun State, but this has given me the good opportunity of networking, I met people who have served in all spheres of life and knew much that I can benefit from them.

“My aim is to use my 35 worth years of experience in Nigeria Police, in the University of Ibadan and all other places that have served to help the club, so that the club can develop. I have pledged to contribute towards the cafeteria they are constructing, these and others things I hope to do in a very short period of time”? Adeniji added.
