I don’t see anything but perfection – Subomi Balogun

Otunba Micheal Olasubomi Balogun, founder of the First City Monument Bank with its acronym, (FCMB) has challenged on one of his beautiful branches in his home town in Ijebu-Ode Folagbade branch for better amenities, for easy operation within the axis.
Balogun on his inspection to some newly developed branch on Monday applauded, claimed that no other branch in the country that is superlative in looking is better than its Ijebu-Ode branch being his first work in the banking sector in the country.
The group chairman said, “I am particularly emotionally delighted, that I have in my midst, one of our royal fathers, who happens to be in the same profession with me, a chartered accountant who was working in the bank before he became an Oba, HRH Oba Osunsami, the Aladeken of Oke-Ako for him to show up here, it’s an attestation that what we’re doing is all right, adding that in all of the branches in the country, the Ijebu-Ode branch is the best”.
Balogun in his keynote address implored the customers to pass the uniqueness of FCMB and its operations to all Ijebu sons and daughters, saying things are happening in FCMB Ijebu-Ode with all of the culture of excellence, we will make at everything that will make us perfect.
He futher said, “We will always be perfect in our culture, this branch should be used as a symbol of excellence, to enable other branches, not only in Ijebu but in the state and in the Southwest region”.
“As you have noticed in me, I don’t sight on anything but perfection, there is a crying need for establishment banking facilities in Oke-Aje (Oba Adetona Market), what I am aspiring for is that FCMB would be on the list of everybody in Ijebu for service presentation, we wouldn’t have any fear, but our workers need to maintain the standard”. Balogun commended them for the efforts making so far on the progress of the business.
Speaking briefly at the gathering, the branch manager, Mrs. Favour Asorona, ascertained that, the building was commissioned in the year 2002, the group chairman felt the need to renovate its structure, to move for the time by making the place more attractive and beautiful for our customers, which was done and the group chairman came to inspect it.
“The most constant thing is change, we keep growing, we keep moving forward everyday, and we have taken up the challenge, we are going to work about it for the development of our banking system in Ijebu axis”.
She implored all Ijebu sons and daughters for their support and more of their patronage in the branch.
