Governor Amosun, others felicitate with the former Senate President, David Mark at 70 – Femi Olayinka, Abeokuta

Ogun State governor,  senator Ibikunle Amosun has joined other well meaning Nigerians to felicitate with the former Senate President, senator David Mark as he clocks 70 on earth describing him as embodiment of equity, justice and fairness.

Governor Ibikunle Amosun stated this in a goodwill message on the occasion of 70th birthday anniversary celebration of senator Mark held at the International Conference Center, Abuja.

The governor represented by his deputy, Chief (Mrs) Yetunde Onanuga said the former senate president  is a great achiever whose positive contributions to the growth and development of nation’s democracy can not be over emphasized especially in his time as Senate President.
As he turned 70, the governor wished him good health and many more years of service to his fatherland and prayed God to always direct his steps aright

On his part, senate President, Bukola Saraki who extolled the virtues of senator David Mark commended him for his selfless and meritorious service to the country for a record number of years.

Other speakers in their good will messages at the occasion described the longest serving senator and two-time president of the Senate as a stabilizer and Bastion of the principle of democracy who enthroned cordial relationship between the legislature and the executive.
