Fair Distributions Of Physical Infrastructure Will Be My Priority…Prince Dapo Abiodun

The newly sworn in 5th democratically elected executive governor of Ogun State , Prince Dapo Abiodun has disclosed that a fair distribution of Physical Infrastructure such as rural and urban roads, water, electricity, houses as well as Security , education and affordable health care delivery will be prioritised in the course of his governance.
Speaking shortly after his swearing in ceremony along with his Deputy, Engr. Mrs Noimot Salako Oyedele, held at the M.K.O International Stadium, Kuto, Abeokuta, tagged, ” Building our future together: a task for all”. Prince Abiodun noted that the state of roads across the State was quite deplorable as resources appeared to have been poorly allocated to the rural areas.
He reiterated the commitment of his administration to deploy several strategies and alternative financing options , such as Public Private Partnership (PPP) establishment of an Infrastructure Development Bond (IDB) and other initiatives in the funding and delivery of projects, adding that adequate planning, evaluation of projects before the execution would be employed to ensure full multiplier effect on the economy and enable timely delivery of the projects.
The governor further hinted that the Public Works Department would be resuscitated to commence immediate rehabilitation of some of the township and rural roads.
