Furthermore, Chief Fassy Yusuf’s office serves as a living testament to his role as Commissioner for Information during the era of Governors Akintande and Ewang as military administrators of Ogun State. Throughout the visit, the timeless black and white color scheme adds a unique touch to the office, symbolizing Chief Fassy Yusuf’s ability to seamlessly navigate through the diverse facets of his career and community involvement.

My visit to Chief Fassy Yusuf’s country home was not just physical but an immersion into the essence of his legacy—a life dedicated to excellence, positive impact, and the harmonious integration of professional, cultural, and community roles within the confines of a tastefully furnished office.

Being the Chief of the Awujale of Ijebuland, a member of the Council of Chiefs of Ijebuland, a member of the prestigious Ijebu Ode Club founded in 1921, and the coordinator of the annual Ojude Oba festival with international recognition, Chief Fassy Yusuf’s contributions to his community and profession are truly commendable. My recent visit to his country home was not only a nostalgic journey but also a reaffirmation of the enduring impact he has had on my PR career since my first visit to his office at Obanikoro in the mid-80s. This visit, like the previous one, will remain etched in my memory. I am grateful for the lessons learned and privileged to express my gratitude to our esteemed big boss. As he aptly stated, “Every business needs PR, you shouldn’t expect anything less.”
