EGBE BOBAGUNTE OKUNRIN, AKILE IJEBU CONGRATULATES OGUN GOVERNOR-ELECT, PRINCE DAPO ABIODUN, MFR

Following the declaration of All Progressives Congress, APC governorship candidate, Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR, as the winner in Ogun State, Egbe Bobagunte (Okunrin) Akile Ijebu has congratulated him on his victory.

In his congratulatory message, Otunba Adesanya Yusuf (Giwa Egbe and the Otunba Bobaseilu of Ijebuland) on behalf of the age-grade group, said the members are excited by the outcome of the election which returned Abiodun, a newly inducted member, who will now direct the affairs of Ogun State in the next four years.

Otunba Yusuf thanked God for the victory which he described as a manifestation of Ogun people who voted across all ethnic divides to ensure Abiodun’s victory.

According to him, Prince Abiodun had always exhibited exemplary qualities of a thoroughbred politician, successful businessman and astute administrator who can drive the economy of Gateway State to an enviable position. Otunba Adesanya Yusuf added that the election was a hard-fought victory and in the words of Napoleon Bonaparte “victory belongs to the most persevering” and Prince Dapo Abiodun richly deserves his victory as he persevered despite all odds.

He then prayed for divine wisdom and good health for the incoming governor as he mounts the saddle of leadership in Ogun State calling on all sons and daughters of the State to rally round and support the newly elected governor and his administration which promises the return of responsible and responsive governance.
