Be Good Ambassadors, Ijebu Ode LG Boss Charges Graduating Students

The executive chairman, Ijebu-Ode Local Government, Alhaji Tunde Emilola Gazal has charged the 2015 to 2021 graduating students of Ijebu Muslim College (senior school) to be good ambassador of their alma mater.

This call was made during the 2021 Valedictory and Induction into Ijebu Muslim College Old Student Association (IMCOSA)/Award ceremony, held at the school premises on Wednesday.

In his opening remarks, the council boss reminds outgoing students that the event marks the end of their secondary school education which is just a stepping stone, it is also the beginning of another tougher phase which he believed they have been adequately prepared through teaching and various moral talks.

He urged the graduands to always have God in whatever they do and advised them to desist from evil acts that can tarnish their image which may lead them to problems in their future endeavors.

Alhaji Gazal further admonished the students to give back to their alma mata and to always emulate some distinguished old students as their role models.

In her farewell speech, the principal Mrs Adeniran Idris showered encomiums on Dapo Abiodun led-administration for the immeasurable commitment to the development of education in the state, as she expressed her gratitude to God for granting the graduands the grace of successful completion of their sojourn in the citadel of learning.

To round off the epoch event the group also bestowed various awards to some notable personalities from within and outside Ogun State, they include Engr Kayode Shote, Alhaji Gafar Adewunmi Temitayo and Engr Femi Omotayo among others.
