2023: Kehinde Bello Visits Ijebu North, Seeks PDP Elders’ Support

The leading House of Representatives aspirant for Ijebu East, Ijebu North and Ogun Waterside federal constituency, Hon Kehinde Ayodeji Bello on Thursday met with the elders of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ijebu North local government seeking for their support as the party primaries inch closer.

The event which held at Ijebu-North party secretariat, Ijebu-Igbo on Thursday witnessed the presence of notable leaders of the party from the three local governments of the federal constituency.

Speaking at the event, the PDP chairman for Ijebu-East where the aspirant hails from, Reverend Abiodun Adebayo affirmed that Kehinde Bello remains the best among those who had contested for the office in the past or currently in the race, saying that the party elders would never regret supporting Kenny Bello’s ambition to be their representative in Abuja next year.

“Kehinde Bello’s position in the party since 2019 made him stand top among other contestants who contested in the 2019 primary elections in the Peoples Democratic Party for Ijebu East, North and Ogun Waterside federal constituency

“In the 2019 primary elections, Kehinde Bello came second after Hon Adeyemi Harrison, today, many of these aspirants who contested in PDP but lost have pitched their tent with other parties but our dear brother is here standing, he is consistent and constant like the northern star.

“It’s glaring to all that our dear brother is reliable, we can always count on him and that is why the party will be doing a lot of good to itself and the people of this federal constituency if it allows Kenny Bello to be its standard bearer during next year election”.

Addressing the PDP elders, Kehinde Bello appealed for their rock-solid support and prayers promising a more rewarding and fulfilling time for the people of the federal constituency.

He said, “I am here to appeal to our elders for their support. Residing abroad has also given me some exposure that will surely come in handy in my determination to offer qualitative representation and transform our federal constituency, the state can’t do it alone, many good amenities are needed in our federal constituency, I appeal to our lovers and followers, my candidacy will surely bring dividend of democracy, maximum transformation to our federal constituency if given the opportunity to serve”, – Ayodeji assured.

In the same vein, the former state chairman of the party Engr Bayo Dayo in his address said the party is an open ground for all aspirants to come around and intimate the party members of their lofty dreams and desire to work for a better Nigeria.

Engr Bayo Dayo explained further that “Kehinde Bello has visited me severally, though, if we are to consider the zoning arrangements, many strategies needed to be apply at this crucial time to pick the best among others, the party will surely do the needful at the appropriate time”.
