In Ogun, Hon Ademola Balogun Empowers Constituents With PoS Machines…

The Commissioner for Community Development and Cooperatives, Alhaji Ademola Balogun (Klass) has re-emphasised the commitment of Gov Dapo Abiodun’s led administration to empowering the people to achieve financial freedom.

Alhaji Balogun said the present administration in the state is deeply committed to enhancing the prosperity of the people and will continually embark on efforts that could make life much more better and rewarding for the residents of the state.

The Ijebu Igbo born politician made this declaration on Friday while distributing Point of Sale machines to 11 people picked across the 11 wards of the local government.

The programme was held within the office of the Commissioner.

Alhaji Ademola while speaking during the empowerment said that the initiative was borne out of his desire to make a difference in the lives of the people especially in having viable source of earrings.

The Commissioner explained that “this empowerment programme is about teaching people how to fish instead of giving them fish to eat.

“We have been given this opportunity to serve and as much as we have the resources we won’t fail to keep impacting lives and support our governor who is working hard every day to make things a lot better for the entire residents.

“I hereby urge all of you benefiting from this empowerment programme to make judicious use of the PoS and cash grant. It is a little effort tailored at empowering you and support your livelihood.

“This kind gesture also goes to show that we won’t forget the people in whatever we do and we will definitely do more because just very soon it will be the turn of other set of people to also benefit.

“I want to thank His Excellency, Gov Dapo Abiodun who has given me the opportunity to serve and the platform to also be able to reach out to other. My prayer is that the Almighty God will continually strengthen the governor to do so much more for the people”.
