ADEBAYO ADELABU STANDS CHAMPION IN THE LIST OF PROPAGANDA

There is no way for human to please others, if you continue in doing good, some will fold their hands on the table calculating hatred speeches against your goodies. This has been romancing within the State chapter of Oyo by some political grasscutters, enemy of progress in one way or the other.

To those that are castigating about Otunba Adebayo Adelabu’s candidacy in order to poison the mind of good people of Oyo State by their fake and unconnected reports which were recently published by an online media outfit (MEGA ACTION MAGAZINE), it’s to note that the candidacy and emergence of Oloye Adebayo Adelabu is for the good people of Oyo State in general, not for political gains.

In surviving the odds and the challenges of life yet emerging victorious with the crown of success, becoming a political figure and an inspiration to many, and youth in particular, Oloye Adebayo Adelabu is one in a million. It is only through true participatory government that we can all become true stakeholders in the government.

It’s good to note that everyone in Oyo State today should know the basic fact that “history is the past politics and politics present history” every one has the ample opportunity now to decide whether to write his/her name in the good book of history to be read by all or go into oblivion never to be read or remembered by the good citizens of Oyo State on any important issues.

However it takes one out of the majority with ideological conviction for a better society, who, out of passion creates a sense of direction for collective comfort and progress.
Oloye Adebayo Adelabu of Oyo State in every sense of the revolutionary quest is employing ideology to champion this in a peaceful sense and by all instances, it is a peaceful revolution. He is engaging the citizens in the activities, ideals of things, how well people in Oyo State should live and what should be the standard of life as to what should be the working capacity of the government. In the age of Adebayo Adelabu, Oyo politics has never been the same.

In the online publication entitled (ADELABU AN ENEMY OF HIMSELF) to be quoted “Mr. Adebayo Adelabu won the party’s ticket, he seems to be fueling intraparty crisis by creating enmities among members of the ruling party. It would be recalled that during primaries which eventually produced Adelabu as flag bearer, all the aspirants enjoyed supports from party stalwarts especially the leading aspirant, Engr. Olasunkanmi Tegbe who enjoyed total support from the people at the corridors of power before the pendulum swung and stepped down among other contestants for Adelabu as a result of Governor Abiola Ajimobi’s intervention. After the emergence of Adelabu, the expectation of the party faithfuls was for him to reconcile, resolve differences among warring party members to stand better chances in the forthcoming poll. But surprisingly, Adelabu is busy pointing accusing fingers to those who supported his contemporaries in the primary most especially, Tegbe, the cabinet members and others at the corridors of power who are the governors’ think tank are yet to resolve with Adelabu, an internal crisis which could best be described as ‘cold war’, the political strategists and influencers whom could also contribute to Adelabu’s victory are now his ‘perceived enemies’ because they didn’t support him during the race to the primary”, the rest are history.

Without any descriminations seeing Adebayo Adelabu as Grassroots politician of today in the history of Oyo State, why is Oloye Adebayo Adelabu being considered as one? The Renewed America has defined the grassroots as the bottom of the political pyramid, opposite the “establishment”, which controls the top. He has established Adelabu Legacy Foundation where he creates avenue to meet people daily for the progress of Oyo State among others. While the establishment concentrates power in relatively few people in the highest echelons of power-typically party leaders, elected officials, appointed aides or bureaucrats, and others (and whose business is limiting others chioces), the grassroots includes virtually everyone else, those common people who do not necessarily hold any political office and who may even be getting their first taste of politics in a particular cause.

The grassroots is an attitude. It is an attitude of freedom, of creativity, of unrestrained political enthusiasm, of willingness to band together with ordinary citizens for a common purpose. It has
nothing inherently to do with holding a position. It is what some political leaders do outside or beyond their official duties when they get involved in popular causes. It is what regular people do politically alongside others of like minds, without undone concern for conventional roles or authority. The grassroots is the very essence of politics. It is dumping tea in a harbor, or standing up and testifying at a local city council meeting or taking a political candidate aside after a rally and giving him or her some advice, or handling out leaflets at a mall. It is that whole realm of politics beyond official station, although many of high station moonlight as grassroots activists some unintentionally, by their willingness to rub shoulders with the citizenry. Now a grassroots politician is the politician who engages in the “grassroots” activities to project his political ambition. Oloye Adebayo Adelabu known as “Penkelemesi” in every sense of the word is a grassroots politician.

He creates enthusiasm in them by engaging them and making them to feel very important about themselves, that without them government cannot exist. These people then in turn consider themselves as co-labourers in the government’s vineyard. He inspires them with meaningful work to do for the State, making them understand more fully, that as co-labourers in the government’s vineyard, they are the greatest resources of the State, and that without them the State cannot develop. Above all, Oloye Adebayo Adelabu entrusts initiatives into the hands of these people, thus encouraging to take up initiatives, making them to feel respected in their freedom of creativity.

With the evidence gathered in speaking with one of the followers, popularly known as Kola Poly from Lagelu local government area who recently conducted an interview with news men claimed to be well satisfied, thus embracing the way and manner of entertaining the good followers of Penkelemesi by Chief Adebayo Adelabu, according to him “staying and working along with Oloye Adebayo Adelabu as our Oyo State APC gubernatorial candidate is indeed a great blessing to his team, the people surrounding him and the Oyo State at large”, he stated.

Adding that Mr. Isiaka popularly known as Adedibu has no good will in the Oyo political circle, he has been known as a cunny person who doesn’t have a political will to attestate with the role being played by Chief Adebayo Adelabu since he has emerged as Oyo Gubernatorial candidate of APC despite the fact that he didn’t work for him in the process of primary election”, he asserted.

In another attestation by Hon. Kola Amoo who came from Ibadan South East local government who also worked for Engr. Joseph Tegbe whom they both contested for Governorship with Oloye Bayo Adelabu, in a nutshell, Hon. Kola Amoo a core associate of Engr. Joseph Tegbe has been given the opportunity to work for the party and this is very clear and it attestates that Oloye Adebayo Adelabu has engaged numerous set of people to his team immediately he emerged as the party’s flag bearer in the State. This is one of the reasons for encouraging Hon. Kola Amoo for his commitment to the party in the state after the primary while Hon. Abiodun Gbolagade from Oluyole Local Government with others in which they both came from Chief Eruobodo camp has also been embraced and fully encouraged by Oloye Adebayo Adelabu.

Oloye Adebayo Adelabu has fully adopted the following principles in his grassroots politics. He knows the most important things to do in creating an effective platform to manage (foundation) the people by relating with them passionately and being sensitive to their needs.
