I am set to develop my constituency, says Kehinde Bello

* Clergy-men, Student Union, Sule Sanusi, Onifade pledges support for KAB.

The journey from the All Progressive Congress (APC) to the African Democratic Congress (ADC) now People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has come to an end on Sunday, as the People’s Democratic Party stakeholders across the State storm Ijebu-East Local Government area of Ogun State to welcome the son of the soil, Kehinde Ayodeji Bello to the political fold of the strong opposition party in Nigeria led by its Governoship aspirant, Hon. Oladipupo Adebutu, the state chairman, Sikirulai Ogundele among others.

When Kehinde Ayodeji Bello declared that he would be running for the House of Representatives seat in 2019 general elections, for Ijebu-East, North and Ogun Waterside, a lot of people came out of their shelves with encomiums for the son of the soil. Their jubilation was firmly rooted in the deepest conviction that Kehinde Bello would mend the broken wounds in the party and resuscitate the PDP leadership in the axis and take its federal constituency to a greater height.

It was a gathering that showcased the uniqueness of the People’s Democratic Party in the area, the student union representatives at the ceremony showered encomiums on Kehinde Ayodeji Bello as they clamoured for the development of the constituency. They asserted, “we recognize and associate with our aspirant, Kehinde Bello being a youth like us, we need to put our heads together as student union forum to lead the train for KAB come 2019, for the qualities of humanitarian gestures in him”.

Adding, “we came to support Kehinde Bello’s political project, we wouldn’t relent until he get into office for his antecedents and landmark supports to us, he has the qualities of a good representation if given an opportunity to represent us at the national assembly”, spokesperson alighted.

Eulogies and prayers were said by Alhaji Owolemi who reminded the multitude on the legacy laid by the Late Chief Mufutau Bello, father to Kehinde Ayodeji Bello whom he described as “father and son with good character”.

“We appreciate the efforts of Kehinde Ayodeji Bello, he has been so good to us before he determined to contest, and he’s still doing it. We therefore have no other means than to support his race, Ayodeji has always fulfilled his promises, he donated numerous things to Ijebu-East in general, he represented good symbol of our community and the state at large, Owolemi said.

Speaking further at the gathering, Chief Onifade Ajayi, who added in his goodwill, said, “If we fail to follow Kehinde Bello until he get to the office, we send-out good product of our community, Ayodeji has been fulfilling promises before and till now and he always prove himself as God-sent product to our constituency in Ijebu-East, North and Ogun Waterside” said, Ajayi.

One of the party’s leader in the area who has been throwing his massive support for Kehinde Bello’s project since the inception, Hon. Suleiman Sanusi, an aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party, for the House of Representatives before he quit the race recently, implored the gathering not to loose out good representative for the seat in the House of Representatives in 2019 general elections.

Sanusi said, “I have been praying severally to God for the better person like Kehinde Bello to lead us to the next level in Ijebu-East, North and Ogun Waterside, we’re tired of old promises and other good things which are meant for our constituency.

The aspirant, Ayodeji Bello could not but appreciate the presence of the party leaders across the State, but over joyously received his people at the constituency.

He said, “those that have been representing us did nothing to us in our federal constituency in Ijebu-East, North and Ogun Waterside, it’s the turn of Ijebu-East person, I am set to deliver and to take my federal constituency to greater height.

“I am set to develop my constituency if voted into office in 2019, what we have are not useful to us, I can’t point out the achievements of those that have been representing us in Ijebu-East, North and Ogun Waterside. These people are carlous, it’s time for me to represent my people with good representation, I care for quality and effective representation at the green chamber”

He called on the people to come out enmass by voting for him and Hon. Ladi Adebutu, in the coming 2019 general elections for the development of Ogun State and other federal constituencies, districts across the state, adding that with the massive support going on for Hon. Adebutu, it is becoming clearer that in Ogun State gubernatorial race, he has the great political might to win the election and lead Ogun State in 2019.
