PSG will reportedly sign Real Madrid star despite Manchester United interest
– Real Madrid are ready to sell James Rodriguez
– PSG are reportedly in talks with the midfielder
– Manchester are also chasing the star
French champions Paris Saint-Germain are in talks to sign Real Madrid star James Rodriguez.
There are reports that the poor form of Colombia and Real Madrid forward is as a result of Zinedine Zidane’s perception about the youngster.
It would be recalled that Rodriguez secured a big money move to Madrid after starring at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. Real Madrid have placed James Rodriguez on the transfer list with the duo set to depart capital club this summer. It has been discovered that President Florentino Perez has been unhappy with their form over the course of the season.
Rodriguez has endured a turbulent season in Spain having become unhappy under former Real manager Rafa Benitez, while he’s also been in trouble with police for driving offences. He reportedly asked the president for a pay-rise on his current deal, which isn’t believed to have gone down well with Perez and the club’s management.
Don Balon reports that the Colombia international has reportedly put his house in Madrid up for rent and is now house-hunting in the same area where United manager Jose Mourinho currently lives.
It notes that Mourinho and the 24-year-old share the same agent, and the agent is negotiating a potential move.
However, Yahoo are sure that a deal to play under Unai Emery at Parc des Princes is very close to being sealed.
The source also states that the new PSG boss is no longer interested in trying to recruit Napoli’s Gonzalo Higuain for Les Parisiens’ project, preferring instead James’ countryman, AC Milan striker Carlos Bacca.
